My name is Shiloh Martinez, and I am excited to start my third year teaching English at PCHS. This is my ninth year teaching overall, where I spent my first six years at Chatfield High School in Littleton. My husband and I bought a house in Bailey a year ago, and we are excited to be a part of the Bailey community. My husband, Josh, is a science teacher at Clear Creek High School, and we have a beautiful black lab named Sadie. I have taught all levels of English, including Basic, Honors, Juniors, and even Seniors. In my spare time (mostly summertime), I love to read, do house projects, sew, cook and bake, and most of all spend time with my family, nieces and nephews, and friends. I am originally from the great Cornhusker state of Nebraska, but I have lived in CO for almost 13 years; my husband is a CO native, though. I received my undergraduate degree of Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis in English at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and I received my Masters degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.
